Cooper Groger is a Licensed Professional Counselor who is currently accepting new clients. Cooper graduated from Southern University and A&M College with my master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling in 2017. He conducts therapy with clients through morals and values of the Christian faith integrated with Cognitive-Behavior Therapy. Cognitive-Behavior Therapy is defined as challenging set beliefs and replacing those beliefs with more realistic beliefs. In result, it will promote adaptive behaviors within the client. He also integrates other theories in the therapy provided.

He recently graduated from Nicholls State University with his Master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling where he spent over a year seeing college-aged clients at the Nicholls State University Counseling Center.

Ethan utilizes a humanistic-existential approach with clients to help them create and achieve meaningful goals. Through this counseling approach, clients can expect an environment filled with support,encouragement, and self-exploration. Ethan is devoted to supporting clients experiencing bereavement and is working towards one day becoming a Certified Grief Counselor. Ethan is also passionate about helping client's adjust through major changes in their lives, whether they be school, career, or relationship-focused.
